What we collect

Draft policy for review by the site owner before public launch.

Searches

To learn what tools people need, we store an aggregated record of searches: the search text with emails, phone numbers, URLs and long numbers removed (max 100 characters), the filters used, the number of results, and the day. We do not store your IP address, browser details, cookies, account ID or the exact time with search records.

Outbound clicks

We count clicks to tool websites per tool per day. The count has no visitor identifiers.

Tool submissions

When you suggest a tool we store the product name, its website, your notes and, if you give it, your email address, only to follow up about that tool. To limit spam we keep a one-way hash of your network address for two days, then delete it.

Accounts

Only site administrators sign in. Visitors don't need an account.

Newsletter signup is not active yet. When it is, this page will name the provider and explain unsubscribe handling.
